On December 16, China Resources Building Materials Technology and Beijing Guojian Lianxin Certification Center (hereinafter referred to as "Guojian Lianxin") held a strategic cooperation agreement signing ceremony in Shenzhen. The ceremony was attended by Jing Shiqing, CEO of China Resources Building Materials Technology; Wu Qingtao, General Manager of Guojian Lianxin; and Li Yong, Carbon Management Professional Director of the Environmental Health and Safety Department of China Resources Group. On behalf of both parties, Lü Genzhuang, Safety Director and General Manager of the EHS Department of China Resources Building Materials Technology, and Yin Jingyu, Deputy General Manager of Guojian Lianxin, signed the agreement.
CEO Jing Shiqing warmly welcomed General Manager Wu Qingtao and his delegation, expressing gratitude for the professional support Guojian Lianxin has provided to China Resources Building Materials Technology in past collaborations. He pointed out that 2024 marks the first control year for the cement industry's inclusion in the national carbon market, and 2025 will be the first compliance year. Guojian Lianxin has been involved in formulating the accounting standards, quota allocation plans, and green low-carbon cement standards for the cement industry's inclusion in the national carbon market, accumulating extensive carbon management experience. He expressed hope that both parties would continue to deepen exchanges and cooperation, achieve mutual benefits, empower the industry's green, low-carbon, and healthy sustainable development, and jointly co’ntribute to the realization of the national "Dual Carbon" strategic goals.
General Manager Wu Qingtao thanked China Resources Building Materials Technology for its long-term support and trust. He noted that the two parties have a solid foundation and fruitful results from years of cooperation.
